The Men Who Stare at Goats is a war comedy that shows the US Army's New Earth division, a hippy supernatural research group and a reporters attempted expose on it. Bob, the reporter, follows the most talented of the hippy soldiers Lyn on an adventure to try an write an article that would make him as a reporter. That is the basis of some great comedy. George and Ewan are great on screen together as the freaky concepts are explored, like mentally bursting clouds or mentally knocking over goats. Its fun for a while but on the whole there's probably not too much there. Its a comedy, so we won't look for substance. Its fun, and that's what matters.
The BluRay version is not really worth it as it doesn't really add anything.
